Archives for the month of: January, 2012

With the Woodberry boys away for a 5-day winter weekend, I’ve been much less crazed.  Most days when school is in session find me running from event to guest speaker to basketball game to track meet to office — taking photos, editing photos, and posting photos.  January has been a particularly eventful month with guest speakers on campus seemingly every night.  And I work as a photography mentor to the yearbook photographers–the first 15 spreads were due this past week — so we were scrambling for some last-minute photo requests.

But the campus is at peace right now, so I’m devoting all free moments (except those I’ve spent with friends!) to customizing the Nutcracker yearbooks.  I have about 10 complete, and 15 to go, but they will all absolutely, positively be ordered by Tuesday.  I expect to have them next week sometime!  I’ve ordered one for proofing, and I have to say I’m happy with the result.  I think everyone is going to love these books!

A few things to note:

1.  The watermark (Linda Hogan Photography) will not appear on prints you order.

2.  If you’d like to share the photos, please feel free to link to my website, follow my blog, or Like Linda Hogan Photography on Facebook.  Recognize, though, that these images are my intellectual property and are copyrighted.

3. Next project:  Nutcracker Photo books.  If you still wish to order a book, you need to fill out an order form and pay asap!  Send me an email at Linda_Hogan@woodberry.org

Thanks for looking!

Welcome to my new photography blog where I hope to keep everyone updated on the latest with Linda Hogan Photography.

Right now I am hard at work uploading all the edited photos from the Orange School of Performing Arts Nutcracker performances. I spent lots of time while I was on vacation selecting my favorites and editing them. I have promised myself I will not sleep tonight before all the pictures are posted.

I hope everyone has a nice time looking at the images of our talented dancers!

My photo website has a new host and a new address.  I made the change because I felt the new provider would give my customers a better experience.

So–give me feedback!  Let me know when you see me or by email what you think of the new site, the prints, and the pictures.  My reason for making my photography into a small business is to be able to provide better images and touch people’s lives.  To do that, I want to constantly improve my skills, equipment, and service.  You can help by asking me questions and telling me about your experiences with the website.  I am always doing my best–but I want my best to keep getting better!

Keep an eye on the website lindahoganphotography.com and on the Linda Hogan Photography Facebook page.

Meanwhile, I’ll keep you posted!
